April 2010 - My 10 page SP "Through Eyes of the Innocent" finished in first place in the DVX User's themed contest "HitchcockFEST".


My 5 page SP "HONEY DO", got an honorable mention in Movie Poet's February 2010 contest.   :D


January 2010 - My 5 page SP "Time To Fly" finished in the top 10 of DVX User's themed contest "BetrayalFEST".


My 5 page SP "12.21.2012", got an honorable mention in Movie Poet's October 2009 contest.  The theme was "NUMBERS": The title of your script must be a number. You can use punctuation (commas, hyphens, decimal points, etc.), but no letters.  I went for a light/dark comedy.  :D


It's that time again!!  2009/10 NYCMM Screenwriter's Championships !   Round 1 - part 1 (comedy)- came in 6th in my heat.  Round 1 - part 2 (Fantasy - YUCK)- My story totally sucked, I HATED Fantasy, but somehow I made it to Round 2  - (Historical Fiction) - finished 2nd in my heat and SQUEAKED into the finals! Totally Bombed on my final round entry.  Got a ZERO.  That's bad...especially because I thought it was really good.  What a freakin bummer.


September 2009 - Completed my Round 1 entry in Screenwriting Expo's "Cyberspace Open".  You had 48 hours to complete a 3 to 5 minute scene based on the premise given.  It was FUN!  I hope I make it to Round 2!  UPDATE:  you needed to score 93 or higher to move to round 2 - I scored a 92.  :-/


August 2009 - Completed a 12 page SP for SIMPLY SCRIPT'S OWC (One Week Challenge).  Genre was Romantic Dramedy and the theme was you had to write lyrics to a piece of music they supplied and incorporate it into the story.  Yikes.  UPDATE:  Out of the 37 entries I made it to the top 3 and mine was chosen to be read by iScript.  Click HERE to listen to my story!!  :) 


My 5 page SP "How To Talk To Women", got an honorable mention in Movie Poet's July 2009 contest.  the theme was "FADE OUT". Everyone's SP had to end with the lines "PARKER Try to get some sleep. Taylor smiles as Parker closes the trunk."  -  I went for a  Rom/Com this time.


April 2009 - Placed 3rd in my heat in the 2009 6th Annual NYCMM Screenwriter's Challenge - but didn't advance to the finals. 


My 5 page screenplay "You Will Always Be Mine" got an Honorable Mention in Movie Poet's December 2008 contest.  The theme was open, I went for something dark. 


 2008/09 1st ANNUAL NYCMM Screenwriter's Championships My Round 1, Part 1 entry came in 5th place in my heat (Nov 08').  My Round 1, Part 2 entry placed 1st in my heat (Dec 08'). My Round 2 entry placed 3rd in my heat (Jan 09') so I move to the final round.  Final results:  I tanked.  


My 5 page screenplay "Argon" got an honorable mention in Movie Poet's October 2008 contest.  The theme was "Chemistry".  You had to name and mold the story after an element from the periodic table.


My 5 page screenplay "Jessica's Window" won 2nd place in Movie Poet's August 2008 contest.  The theme was "INT.   ATTIC - DAY".  Everyone's SP started with the same first 3 lines. 


"Follow The Signs" made it to the tie-breaking round of the quarter-finals in the 2008 PAGE INTERNATIONAL Screenwriting Contest.


My 5 page screenplay "The Lake" got an honorable mention in Movie Poet's May 2008 contest.  The theme was to adapt an Edgar Allen Poe poem or short story into a screenplay. 


Finished 2nd in my heat and made it to the Final Round of the 2008 5th Annual NYCMM Screenwriter's Challenge - tanked in the finals.


"Follow The Signs" & "Free Your Skeletons" made it to the semi-finals in the 2008 BlueCat Screenwriting Lab.


"FOLLOW THE SIGNS" made it to the quarter-finals of 2005 Zoetrope's Annual Screenplay contest.
